Chicken Lollipops Recipe

Chicken lollipops are a popular appetizer made from chicken wings. They are usually deep-fried and have a unique lollipop shape, making them fun and delicious to eat. Here's a recipe for chicken lollipops:

Ingredients:

10-12 chicken wings

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste.

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 egg

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying

Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

Start by preparing the chicken wings. Cut off the tips of the wings and separate the drumettes from the flats. Save the wing tips for making chicken stock or discard them.

In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, paprika, black pepper powder, cornstarch, all-purpose flour, egg, and salt. Mix well to form a thick marinade.

Add the chicken wings to the marinade and coat them well. Ensure that each wing is well coated with the marinade. Let the wings marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. For better flavor, you can marinate them overnight.

Heat oil for deep frying in a deep pot or frying pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully add the marinated chicken wings one by one, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry them in batches if necessary.

Fry the chicken wings until they turn golden brown and crispy, flipping them occasionally for even frying. This may take around 8-10 minutes per batch.

Once the chicken lollipops are cooked, remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Garnish the chicken lollipops with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve the chicken lollipops hot as an appetizer or party snack. They can be enjoyed on their own or served with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as ketchup, sweet chili sauce, or mayonnaise. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra tangy flavor.

Chicken lollipops are a crowd-pleasing dish that can be enjoyed at gatherings, parties, or as an appetizer before a meal. The crispy exterior and flavorful marinade make them absolutely delicious. Enjoy these chicken lollipops with your favorite sauce and share them with friends and family!
