Fried Rice Recipe

 Recipe for classic Fried rice:

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old, as it will fry better)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, minced.

1 small onion finely chopped.

1 cup mixed vegetables (such as carrots, peas, corn, and bell peppers), diced.

2 eggs, lightly beaten.

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and chopped onion to the pan and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned.

Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.

Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir-fry everything together, breaking up any clumps of rice with a spatula.

Drizzle the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) over the rice. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the rice is evenly coated and heated through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning and sauces according to your preference.

Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.

Serve the fried rice hot as a main dish or as a side dish alongside your favorite Asian-inspired dishes.

Feel free to customize your fried rice by adding proteins like diced chicken, shrimp, or tofu, and additional ingredients such as bean sprouts, pineapple chunks, or cashews for added flavor and texture. Enjoy your homemade fried rice!
