Meatballs Recipe

 Recipe for creamy turkey meatballs:

Ingredients:

For the meatballs:

500 grams ground turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

1/4 cup milk

1 small onion finely chopped.

2 cloves garlic, minced.

1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped.

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 egg, lightly beaten.

Oil for cooking

For the creamy sauce:

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. You should be able to make approximately 20-25 meatballs.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Brown the meatballs on all sides, turning them gently with tongs. This will help seal in the juices and add flavor. Once the meatballs are browned, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir continuously for about 1-2 minutes until it forms a smooth paste.

Slowly whisk in the chicken broth, making sure there are no lumps. Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens further.

Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Return the meatballs to the skillet with the creamy sauce and gently simmer for 5-10 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and the flavors meld together.

Serve the creamy turkey meatballs over cooked pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Garnish with fresh parsley and additional grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Enjoy the creamy and flavorful turkey meatballs!

The creamy sauce adds a rich and indulgent touch to the turkey meatballs, making them even more delicious. Serve them as a comforting main dish, and pair them with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
